i had a lovely stay. the room was well-equipped with great ac and temperature control. enjoyed the rain shower head and handheld options. bath linens were soft and plush. the fitness centre was a nice bonus. really close to the cruise line makes it perfect for travelers from houston.

perfect spot for exploring galveston on foot
The hotel was perfectly positioned just a few steps away from the saltwater grill and around 500 meters from the fascinating texas seaport museum, making it easy for me to indulge in delicious meals and explore local culture during my stay. i loved how family-friendly the area was with all the nearby landmarks and parks to enjoy.

The hotel lacks a main lobby and any onsite staff, which can feel isolating. There’s no designated space to relax while waiting for check-in, and it was inconvenient having our luggage stored in a room with a washing machine that lacked necessary facilities like bathrooms. The room was cramped for three adults with no closet, leaving little space for our large suitcases. The entry door was tricky with a cement divot, making it a struggle to roll in luggage. Maintenance issues included worn, curling hallway rugs and exposed insulation in our room, along with uncomfortable beds.
